MUE Group is proud to announce the successful completion of the Cathodic Protection Design works for the Qushtapa District Drinking Water Project in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. This vital infrastructure project, commissioned by the K.R.G. – Ministry of Municipalities, General Directorate of Water & Sewerage, aims to enhance the long-term integrity and sustainability of the region’s drinking water system.
The scope of MUE’s work included the cathodic protection design for three separate water transmission pipelines, with diameters of Ø800mm and lengths of 7,525m, 14,950m, and 14,114m respectively. The design ensures the pipelines are protected from corrosion, thereby reducing maintenance costs and extending the operational lifespan of the water infrastructure.
This achievement underscores MUE Group’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions and supporting critical public utility projects across Iraq and the region.
We thank our dedicated team and valued partners for their efforts and collaboration in ensuring the success of this important milestone.
